COMPLIMENTING OUTSTANDING MAKERS (and telling all the bad ones to go away.)

ok. no more contests for right now.
life caught up with me and i'm way too busy.

in the mean time. i would like to point some things out.
i made a list of things i liked/disliked so that i wouldn't have to look at one of those dislikable things. well. it was extremely annoying to see several entries like them.
these are the entries:
scrolling banner that was scrolling
blinky boxes
the most awful thing in the world: scrolling, blinking, ickiness
several scrolls and image edge visible

to the makers of these layouts: don't enter my contests again unless you can get rid of all the tackiness and lame add ons. sorry to be harsh, but you're not going to win anyways, so don't enter.

shining star: violatedlayouts makes some of the neatest, original, and cool layouts i've seen in a while.
many other makers were very good as well:
veryfine_layouts, ooplexoople, starship, happyhouse, romantics

thanks to all who follow the rules and notice the likes and dislikes.
from now on, if i find a layout that i hate because they put blinkies or stuff like that on, i'm just deleting it. and not telling the maker. thanks.

THIS IS TO CUT DOWN ON ALL OF THE HORRIBLE LAYOUT MAKERS OUT THERE. I'm judging GOOD layout makers. thanks!

attention: i'm trying to find a better way to hand out banners... i think what i will do is alert each winner that they have won, then put a text box with the banner linking back to my site, on here somewhere...
does this sound good? if you have any other ideas, please comment the second post.
and: controversial_layoutsxo brought to my attention that partnered sites should be able to enter more than one. this is ok as long as you make it obvious who each entry is for.
